2009-2010

The team started as an intramural team by pool manager Ben VanderHorst in 2009. Over these two summers the team practiced and competed against themselves. Each summer the team had about 30 members and practiced three times a week. During this time the swimmers voted on the team mascot (Manta Rays) and team colors (Red and Black).
